BOOKS AT EMERANCE EDITIONS

​

Along with Bernard Noël, Abdellatif Laâbi, Adonis, Hamid Tibouchi, Salah Stétié, Michel Butor, Claude Margat, Jean-Pierre Faye, Alain Jouffroy, Mohammed Bennis, all prominent poets and the painter’s close friends, artists’ books were created to fashion a space and a time in which the protagonists take the role of performer and observer, echoing each other with their own singularity.

These books keep the track of painted and printed gestures, assisting the reader’s look and developing their thinking skills.

Each book then originates from a collaboration which inspires an exchange and a dialog and exhibits the territoy of a creation inviting to open up and therefore to share…
